The site launch was timed to coincide with the 50th Anniversary of the judgement of Brown v. Board of Education, Topeka, KS, 1954.
The new website features an interactive calendar of events, detailed exhibits from the trial, general case information, and a Media Bulletin room which features updated reports from the proceedings.
The case of Abbeville School District v. South Carolina is being argued in the Clarendon County Courthouse, in Manning, South Carolina the very same Clarendon County involved in Briggs v. Elliott, and fifty years later, the same issues are at stake.
